1. Qualification
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, have graduated from high school, and be over the age of 18, under the age of 25.
For those who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, according to Document No.83(2009) of Ministry of Education of the PRC, must become foreign citizens before April 30,2015, and must have lived abroad more than 2 years from April 30,2015 to April 30,2019 (more than 9 months of residence abroad per year can be considered as one year).

3. Tuition
Liberal Arts: RMB16,000 /year
Engineering: RMB19,000 /year
Medicine: RMB20,000 /year
English-taught MBBS program: RMB32000 /year
Estimated Other Fees: RMB6000 - RMB8000/year for one occupancy in a roomfor two occupancies.
4. Application Procedures
Online Application. Please log on the Online Application System http://fs.seu.edu.cn/member/login.do to fill in the application and submit the following application documents online:
1、 Valid passport(If you're currently in china, please provide the firstpage and the VISA/resident permit page of your passport).
2、Senior high school diploma (original copy or notarized copy).
3、Graduating high school students can provide pre-graduation Certificate .
4、Transcript for all the courses in senior high school (original copy or notarized copy);
5、Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide the certificate of HSK 4 or above;
6、Applicants for English-taught programs must provide the certificate of TOEFL/IELTS(with the exception for the applicants from the countries or regions whereEnglish is the official language or mother language ).
7、Physical Examination Record of Foreigners;
8、Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizensshould submit (1) cancellation certifiate of Chinese citizenship (2) currentcitizenship certificate (3)Exit and Entry Record on passport, from April 30,2015 to April 30, 2019.
9、Some programs may need other materitals. (E.g. Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture programs ask for the applicant's portfolio).
5. Admission
Step one: If you’re admitted, Scan copy of the admission notice will be sent by email(Applicants can also log on the Online Application System to track the admission process).
Step Two: Pay the application fee(RMB400) and the first year’s tuition fee to the University’s Bank Account(Application fee is non-refundable) . And send the receipt to admission@seu.edu.cn.
While transferring fees to the university’s bank account, you must fill in application serial number, applicant’s name and the program you are applying for.
Step Three: After having received the pre-paid tuition fee, we will send the admission notice and JW202 Form.
6. Scholarship
Chinese Government Scholarship
Applicants should contact directly the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
JasmineScholarship of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship
Applicants can apply for Jasmine Scholarship of Jiangsu Province or Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship after being admitted, information of these two scholarships can be found on our college website: http://cis.seu.edu.cn.
7. Registration
The time for registration is from late August to early September. The exact time will be confirmed on the admission notice.
You can apply for student (X1) visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country on the strength of the admission notice and JW202 form. Please note that you must register ontime with the above materials together with the original senior high school diploma，transcript and HSK/TOEFL/IELTS certificate. Otherwise, you will be disqualified from enrollment.
