Application Information for
Southeast University Undergraduate Programs (2020)
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health, have graduated from high school, and be over the age of 18, under the age of 25.
For those who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and become foreign citizens, according to Document No.83(2009) of Ministry of Education of the PRC, must become foreign citizens before April 30,2016, and must have livedabroad more than 2 years from April 30,2016 to April 30,2020 (more than 9 months of residence abroad per year can be considered as one year).

Liberal Arts: RMB16,000 /year
Engineering: RMB19,000 /year
Medicine: RMB20,000 /year
English-taught MBBS program: RMB32000 /year
Estimated Other Fees: RMB6000 - RMB8000/year for one occupancy in a room for two occupancies.
1、 Passport(The valid period must be more than one year, if you're currently in china, please provide the first page and the VISA/resident permit page of your passport);
2、Senior high school diploma;
3、Graduating high school students can provide pre-graduation Certificate;
4、Transcript for all the courses in senior high school;
5、Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must provide the certificate of HSK4 or above;
6、Applicants for English-taught programs must provide the certificate of TOEFL 80/IELTS 6.0 (with the exception for the applicants from the countries or regions where English is the official language or mother language );
7、Certificate of NoCriminal Conviction;
9、Applicants who have given up their original Chinese citizenship and becomeforeign citizens should submit (1) cancellation certifiate of Chinese citizenship (2) current citizenship certificate (3)Exit and Entry Record on passport, from April 30,2016 to April 30, 2020;
10、Some programs may need other materitals. (E.g. Architecture, UrbanPlanning, Landscape Architecture programs ask for the applicant's portfolio).
1. Please ensure the authenticity of your application materials. If any untruthful content is found in the application materials, you will be disqualified and can not apply to Southeast University again within 2 years;
2. The application documents must be in Chinese or English. Any documents in any other languages must be attached with a notarized English or Chinese translation;
Step one: If you’re admitted, Scan copy of the admission notice will be sent by email(Applicants can also log on the Online Application System to track the admission process).
Step Two: Pay the the first year’s tuition fee to the University’s Bank Account . And send the receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org.
While transferring fees to the university’s bank account, you must fill in Student ID number, applicant’s name and your passport number.
Step Three:After having received the pre-paid tuition fee, we will post the admission notice and JW202 Form.
Chinese Government Scholarship
Applicants should contact directly the local Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
Jasmine Scholarship of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship
Applicants can apply for Jasmine Scholarship of Jiangsu Province or Nanjing Municipal Government Scholarship after being admitted, information of these two scholarships can be found on our college website http://cis.seu.edu.cn.
The time for registration is from late August to early September. The exact time will be confirmed on the admission notice.
You can apply for student (X1) visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country on the strength of the admission notice and JW202 form.
Please note that you must register on time with the above materials together with the original senior high school diploma，transcript and HSK/TOEFL/IELTS certificate. Otherwise, you will be disqualified from enrollment.
