International Student Volunteers Participate in 100-day Countdown Ceremony of SEU 120th Anniversary


On February 26, Southeast University grandly held the 100-day countdown ceremony of 120th anniversary in the grand auditorium of Sipailou Campus. The university authorities, guests, alumni, over 300 teachers and students attended the ceremony. Yacoub and Irina participated in the ceremony as representatives of international student volunteers.

Yacoub is doing his undergraduate studies and is honored to work as a volunteer and offer services during the anniversary celebrations period, he would like to demonstrate the volunteer spirit of dedication, friendship, mutual help and progress. At the launching ceremony, he was glad to see the vigorous development of SEU in various fields and disciplines, and was proud of the achievements of SEU. He was also very excited to meet the university leaders and the other alumni from various fields. He hopes SEU can make more achievements and make steady progress towards a world-class university and become one of the best universities. He will also use his medical expertise to help more people and contribute to the development and progress of Southeast University!

Irina is doing her master’s program and feels happy to join the team of volunteers during the anniversary celebrations. She hopes that the presence of international student volunteers will add luster to the richness to the 120-year-old Southeast University in terms of internationalization and help build the bridge of exchange and communication between Chinese and international culture. She will complete volunteer work successfully and make contributions to the anniversary celebrations through her efforts and hard work.
