With the support and guidance of Confucius Institute Headquarters, three Confucius Institutes were co-established by SEU and Minsk State Linguistic University (Nov., 2011), University of Tennessee at Knoxville (Jun., 2012) and University of Texas-Dallas (Oct., 2012). Among the three Confucius Institutes, the one at UTK set 1 Confucius Classroom while UTD set 21. In total, the number of registered students at the Confucius Institutes reached over 3,000.
The Confucius Institute at Minsk State Linguistic University won 2013 "Confucius Institute of the Year"on the 8th Confucius Institute Conference.
In 2014, the Confucius Institute at UTD also won “Confucius Institute of the Year” on the 9th Confucius Institute Conference.
This year, on the 10th Confucius Institute Conference which was held on 6-7 Dec., Susan Martin from UTK and Larysa Tryhubava from MSLU jointly won 2015 “Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award”.
