Application Procedures for Confucius Institute Scholarship
I. Scholarship Category

2.Scholarship for One-Semester Students
II. Application Documents(All in duplicate)
1.Complete and submit “Southeast University Application Form for International Students”
2.Applicants must log onto the Scholarship website (http://cis.chinese.cn), fill out the “Confucius Institute Scholarship Application Form”
3.Photocopy of Passport Photo Page and 3 Passport Photos
4.Photocopy of HSK and HSKK Result
5.Notarized highest education diplomas attained or transcript for academic qualification (the original one and its photocopies required)
6.Reference Letter and Letter of Commitment. Students attending Chinese language programs of universities in countries with no Confucius Institutes established shall attach a reference letter signed and issued by the university President.
7.Winners of the finals of the “Chinese Bridge” Chinese Proficiency Competitions for Foreign College Students and for Foreign High School Students in China shall submit the scholarship certificate. Winners of preliminary rounds of the “Chinese Bridge” Proficiency Competitions in their countries shall provide award proof and reference letter by the organizers.
8.Personal statement: Applicants shall use Chinese to introduce the background for Chinese study and the plan for study in China. The word number shall be no less than 800.
9.Photocopy of “Physical Examination Record for Foreigner”

孔子学院奖学金申请
一、奖学金类别
1．一学年汉语研修生
2. 一学期汉语研修生
二、提交申请材料(均为一式两份)
1. 《东南大学外国留学生申请表》；
2.《孔子学院奖学金申请表》，网上注册（http://cis.chinese.cn）并提交；
3．未建孔子学院国家的有关高校中文专业学生，须另附校长签发的推荐信；
4．经过公证的最高学历和成绩证明（原件及复印件各一份）；
5. 护照照片页复印件及护照照片3张；
6. 申请陈述：申请者须用中文介绍汉语学习背景、来华学习计划及目标等。不少于800 字；
7. 《外国人体格检查记录表》复印件；
8．新HSK 成绩报告复印件；
9. “汉语桥”世界大、中学生中文比赛来华复赛获奖者，须提供奖学金证书。各国分赛区优胜者须提供获奖证明和赛区主办单位出具的推荐函。
