2015年12月6日至7日，第十届孔子学院大会在上海世博会议中心举行，本届大会由孔子学院总部/国家汉办、上海市人民政府联合主办，上海市教委、华东师范大学承办，主题为“适应需求，融合发展”。来自130多个国家和地区的大学校长、孔子学院代表等共计2300余人参会。大会开幕式由教育部部长、孔子学院总部理事会副主席袁贵仁主持，中共中央政治局委员、国务院副总理、孔子学院总部理事会主席刘延东出席并作主旨演讲，为孔子学院先进集体和个人颁奖，为示范孔子学院颁发证书，宣布成立孔子学院校友会。截至目前，中国已在134个国家和地区建立了500所孔子学院和1000个孔子课堂，学员总数达190万人。今后孔子学院建设将突出本土化，注重质量提升和内涵发展。
我校浦跃朴副校长、海外教育学院院长邱斌、外语学院院长陈美华、国际合作处史兰新处长等参加了此次大会，令人欣喜的是，刘延东副总理向美国田纳西大学副校长兼教务长Susan Martin与明斯克国立语言大学孔子学院的外方院长Larysa Tryhubava颁发了“2015年度孔子学院先进个人”奖。这是继2013年明斯克国立语言大学孔子学院获得“先进孔子学院”和2014年达拉斯德州大学孔子学院获得“先进孔子学院”后，与我校合办孔子学院所在的大学再次获此殊荣。
Susan Martin from University of Tennessee and Larysa Tryhubava from Minsk State Linguistic University won 2015 “Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award”
On 6-7 Dec. 2015, the 10th Confucius Institute Conference, co-hosted by Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, organized by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and East China Normal University, was held at the Shanghai Expo Center. The theme of the conference is “Cater to New Demand and Push for Integration”. A total of 2,300 people attended the conference including university presidents and representatives of Confucius Institutes from 134 countries and regions. The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr. Yuan Guiren, Minister of Education and Vice-Chairman of the Council of Confucius Institute Headquarters. Madam Liu Yandong, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Vice Premier of P. R. China and Chair of the Council of Confucius Institute Headquarters, attended and delivered a keynote speech. Madam Liu also presented 2015 “Confucius Institute of the Year” and “Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award”, issued certificates to the Model Confucius Institutes and announced the establishment of the Global Alumni Association of Confucius Institute. Up to now, 500 Confucius Institutes and 1,000 Confucius Classrooms have been established in 134 countries and areas around the world. The total number of students has reached 1.9 million. The future development of the Confucius Institute will focus on localization and promotion of quality and content.Vice Principal Pu Yuepu, Dean of College of International Students Qiu Bin, Dean of School of Foreign Languages Chen Meihua, Director of International Cooperation Department Shi Lanxin attended the conference.
Vice Premier Liu Yandong presented 2015 “Confucius Institute Individual Performance Excellence Award” to Susan Martin, Vice Principal and Provost of University of Tennessee, and Larysa Tryhubava, the foreign dean of the Confucius Institute at Minsk State Linguistic University. Before, the Confucius Institute at Minsk State Linguistic University and the Confucius Institute at University of Texas-Dallas have won respectively 2013 and 2014 “Confucius Institute of the Year”.
