The sixth International Cultural Festival of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics held on October 30, with the theme “A Common Dream, A Shared Community”, was divided into three parts: The sixth international ethnic culture festival, the global village tour into friendly neighbor Pakistan and a seminar series on studying abroad. It also includes N.U.A.A Overseas Exchange Program students’ Experience sharing session, foreign language learning and guide, application skills of foreign universities and online seminar activities of N.U.A.A and partnering schools.
The event which had in display various countries of the world was a very colorful one. At arrival, SEU teachers and students were warmly welcomed and proceeded to the main event which was beautifully graced with various performances, ranging from dancing to singing and so on. The students representing their culture put up outstanding performances that thrilled the whole audience.
SEU students also got to learn about different cultures of the world and got stamps of different countries in a cute passport provided by the school. As students paraded round the tents and got the stamps, it was an opportunity to learn and exchange cultural values from the various countries present such as Yemen, Ethiopia, Morocco, Somalia, Iran, Ghana, India, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Pakistan, Ecuador, Republic of Congo, Tanzania, East Timor, and Kenya.
Gloria, a Masters student in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages think s in this event participants can share their own cultures and learn about each other’s cultures , which are also well achieved.
