I'm in China, let's read together!

On November 28, 2020, Xuanwu Lake Reading Exchange was held in Xuanwu Lake Park. The reading event was organized by Jiangsu Reading Promotion Association, Jiangsu Radio and Television Group, Nanjing Literature Promotion Center,  Nanjing Xuanwu Lake Park Management Office and Litchi Reading Association. The event was also supported by Nanjing International Cultural Exchange Center, Jiangsu International Channel, College of International Students of Southeast University, Nanjing University of the Arts International Education College, and Zijin Grass International Volunteer Service Team.

Civilizations are enriched by exchanges and mutual learning. The theme of this activity is "I am in China, let's read together." It takes literature and reading as an opportunity to build a bridge connecting China and the world.

Five international students from SEU joined the activity. They were so happy to read a poem about Nanjing.

Foreign friends from 15 countries gathered at Xuanwu Lake in Nanjing to recite the beauty of literature and the joy of reading. As shown in the following pictures, International students from SEU and as Zijin Grass International Volunteers took part in this event.

Gloria, a master student majoring in Chinese International Education from Southeast University, sang"When shall we have a bright moon?

5 International students including Choky, Gloria, Mahsa, Nasir and Karim, from SEU and as Zijin Grass International Volunteers, chanted the poem "In Nanjing" on the spot, dedicated to their second hometown - Nanjing.
