Recently, the 2021 "Shared Joy in Jiangsu" Chinese Speech Contest was held by Information Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation. More than 100 international students from more than 20 countries participated in the contest. After fierce competition, SEU international student Jinna won the second prize in the finals, Choky won the second prize in Nanjing area, Waqas and Rose won the third prize in Nanjing area, and Lars ,Ullah and Hashim won the participation prize.
The theme of 2021 Shared Joy in Jiangsu Chinese Speech contest is cultural story and aims to mobilize the participation enthusiasm of international students, inherit world cultural classics, strengthen cultural exchanges and promote mutual understanding by sharing topics such as intangible cultural heritage, food culture, language culture and hometown culture.
The College of International Students organized international students to participate in the competition, and combined with the characteristics of each international student, integrated intangible cultural heritage, food, hometown and other cultural elements to determine the theme of the speech under the guidance of Teacher Wang and Teacher Chu. This competition has stimulated the Chinese learning enthusiasm and enriched the campus life of international students.
