Dear students：
SEU has launched a facial recognition system for monthly sign-in for scholarship students from this month (April 2024). Students who are still within the scholarship period are requested to come to the International Students’ Office with your passport and Student Card on working time for facial recognition sign-in before the 14th of each month.
Failure of sign-in will be deemed as not attending school for the current month, which will affect the normal payment of the monthly living allowance (delayed payment), and serious delays may result in the deduction of the scholarship for the current month.
The living allowance will be suspended for those who have left for more than 15 days. Generally, due to personal reasons, the accumulated leave of the month exceeds 15 days or the continuous leave exceeds 15 days outside of the school holidays, living allowance for one month will be deducted.
If the absence case is serious, it will be dealt with according to the school discipline and regulations（May affect your scholarship eligibility and student status）.
You will recieve a confirmation email immediately after successful sign-in, sample shows below.
If you do not receive the above email after scanning your face, please contact the International Student Office immediately.
