Notice on the Selection of
2024 Southeast University "International Academic Star"
In order to deeply implement the work of improving the quality of education for international students studying in China, effectively implement the theme of the university's "Academic Year", and create an international research atmosphere at SEU, College of International Students will carry out the 2024 Southeast University "International Academic Star" activity.
I．Application Requirement
1. The applicant must be an international student currently enrolled at Southeast University (excluding 2023 freshmen).
2. The applicant shall abide by Chinese laws and SEU rules and regulations during their time in school, actively participate in various academic activities, and have no violations or arrears of fees.
2. The applicant must have written and officially published at least one academic paper in a formal academic journal as the first author (or as the second author with the supervisor being the first author) and under the name of Southeast University.
3. The applicant should have considerable academic potential.
4. The selection materials must be truthful and valid. If there is any falsification of materials or improper academic achievements, CIS will take serious measures in accordance with the relevant regulations of SEU.
II. Application Procedure
1. Applicants should fill out and submit the Application Form for "2024 Southeast University International Academic Star" (
2024年东南大学学术之星申请表(1).docx) before May 20, 2024, together with academic achievements, and relevant paper supporting materials, such as: proof of publication paper inclusion (publication cover and table of contents, current publication text, inclusion confirmation email, etc.), science and technology patent certificate, academic forum reading certificate, etc. At the same time, electronic versions of the above materials should be sent to: aaocis@163.com No waiting for overdue submission.
Submission location: 403 Teaching and Academic Affairs Office of CIS.
2. CIS will organize experts in relevant fields to review all submitted materials.
3. The selected candidates will be awarded the title of the "2024 Southeast University International Academic Star". CIS will issue honorary certificates and commend the selected students.
