Important Reminder for Scholarship Living Allowance
1. New students are required to register at the university within the time period in the admission notice. For those who fail to register on time without permission, their scholarship qualifications will be automatically canceled.
2. New students who finish registration before the 15th of the month (including the 15th) will receive the whole month living allowance; Those who finish registration after the 15th will receive the monthly living allowance for half a month.
3. After getting the Bank of China card, please go to the International Student Office to register bank card information as soon as possible. In principle, the monthly living allowance can only be distributed to the student's own bank account. Please ensure that the account status is normal to avoid delaying the collection of living allowance.
4. In general, the monthly living allowance will be issued in the same month. The college will notify the delay for living allowance distribution due to force majeure; For new students who apply for living allowance for the first time, the waiting period for payment may be slightly longer due to a series of finance procedures. Please make financial preparations in advance.
5. For students who fail to pass the scholarship annual review, fail to participate in the scholarship annual review without any reason, or violate Chinese laws, school rules and regulations, and refuse to comply with school management with serious circumstances, their scholarship eligibility will be suspended or canceled.
6. Scholarship students should strictly abide by the school's regulations, and if they leave China during the school holidays, their living allowance will be issued normally; If, due to personal reasons, the accumulated leave of the month exceeds 15 days or the continuous leave exceeds 15 days outside of the school holidays, living allowance for one month will be deducted; For those who have been approved by the school to participate in academic activities outside of the teaching and training plan and have left China for no more than 15 days, their living allowance will be reissued after they return to school; The living allowance will be suspended for those who have left China for more than 15 days.
7. For students who suspend their study, they are not eligible for scholarship during the period of suspension. For those who leave the school without approval, their scholarship eligibility will be revoked. Those who fail to apply for resumption or extension for suspension of studies before the end of the suspension deadline shall be waived the scholarship qualification.
8. Scholarship student will continue to receive living allowance for half a month after the graduation /course completion date confirmed by the school. The living allowance shall be suspended from the date of approval if the student is suspended from school, dropped out of school, or disqualified from the scholarship.
9. Scholarship students are not allowed to get other scholarships (excluding various one-time rewards) funded by Chinese government at all levels and admission institutions at the same time. For those who deliberately conceal their funding situation, once discovered, their scholarship eligibility will be canceled and the scholarship already received must be returned.
10. For matters not covered, please refer to other relevant regulations or the latest notice from the school. If there is a special statement in the scholarship program, the specific policies of each program shall prevail.
