Warm reminder for school registration:
1. 2024 registration required documentary are as followed:
(1)Highest degree certificate (High School graduation paper for new bachelors). If the degree certificate is not in English or Chinese, please also provide an original notarized translation copy;
(2) Passport (original and a copy to be kept);
(3)Admission paper from SEU (a copy to be kept);
(4) JW form (a copy to be kept);
(5)Tuition Fee bank remittance certificate;
(6)Form of Registration for International Students SEU

Your admission might be disqualified if you are failed to show the above required materials at registration.
2. Please feel free to check our official website and pay attention to the latest news (https://cis.seu.edu.cn/hwenglish). "Student Service" column on the school website is to learn about the new student enrollment.At registration, please ask for the Student Handbook and Life Guide from the International Students’ Office, read them carefully, and pay close attention to the official website and wechat official account of the school. Please take the initiative to study and abide by Chinese laws.
3. If you are unable to register at the specified time required by the admission notice due to special reasons, please contact us by emailing to the International Students’ Office in advance (cis@pub.seu.edu.cn), and apply for a late registration permission. Please be aware that, undergraduate students cannot be late more than one month, and graduate students cannot be late more than two weeks. Those who do not ask for late registration permission in advance, and fail to complete the registration procedures within the prescribed time limit shall be deemed to give up the admission qualification.
4. If you ask for late registration, it may affect your course selection, Chinese Language Test,some other course study,scholarship registration and distribution etc.The consequences will be borne by you personally.
5. The dormitory is double room. After registration, the international students’ office will arrange the dormitory according to your academic department location and dormitory beds condition itself. Advance reservation is not accepted. Please register for temporary accommodation registration under the guidance of the dormitory administrator within 24 hours after check-in. Self-funded students should pay the bed fee for one academic year before moving into the dormitory, and non-degree students should pay the bed fee corresponding to the school system. The bed fee for a school year is about 6,000 yuan, and the water and electricity costs are not included. It is suggested to pay for the accommodation fee by swiping the bank card of China through the POS machine at the dormitory administrator when checking in. For those new students who do not have domestic bank cards, you can remit the money to the school account in advance. After confirming the payment, the money will be transferred to your student card, and then you will be able to swipe the student card at the dormitory administrator to enter the account.
6. Before coming to China, please make sure that your physical condition is fully suitable for campus study and life. Please contact the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in your country for the physical examination before entry. After arriving in Nanjing, you need to have a physical examination again in the designated hospital (Jiangsu International Travel Health Care Center) to successfully apply for the residence permit. When registering, the International Students’ Office will inform you of the specific arrangement of the physical examination.
7. You will be asked to complete the extension of the residence permit before the expiration of your entry visa (usually 30 days after the entry, and consult the visa issuing authority for details). International students who have completed registration, have no overdue fees, and have purchased insurance as required can receive a maximum one-year study visa extension (the visa duration does not exceed the validity period of the insurance).
8. The living expenses of the scholarship students are generally paid in the next month after all the students have completed the registration procedures and submit the Chinese bank card to the international students’ office. There will be a delay in the first payment, especially for a few students who cannot apply for the Chinese bank card in time. Please make preparations in advance and ensure that you bring enough living expenses to the school. Students applying for delayed registration will not receive a scholarship living / accommodation allowance during the late period.
9. Non-full scholarship students should complete the insurance purchase before registration. Failure of purchasing insurance will cause a failure on registration, residence permit application, and also the registration of your studentship. For more details, please see the following link:

10. Please pay tuition fees and other related fees in time. Students who owe the fees will be failed on semester registration, visa extension, courses selection and other further academic activities. 11. Transportation mode to the School of International Students, Southeast University:
From Nanjing Lukou Airport
Plan 1: Take Metro Line S1, get off at Nanjing South Railway Station, transfer to Metro Line 3, get off at Pontoon Bridge Station, and walk about 500 meters north.
Plan 2: Take the airport bus Line 1 at the airport, and take a taxi after arriving at the station.
Plan 3: direct taxi from the airport to CIS, the fare is about 120 yuan.
From Nanjing South Railway Station
Plan 1: Take the subway Line 3, get off at the pontoon bridge station, and then walk about 500 meters north.
Plan 2: Take a taxi directly to CIS, the fare is about 45 yuan.
From the Nanjing Railway Station
Plan 1: Take subway Line 3, get off at pontoon station and walk about 500 meters north.
Plan two: direct taxi to the southeast, the fare is about 25 yuan.
The university generally does not provide airport pick-up service. If more than 15 people join the same flight, you can negotiate with the international student management office in advance.
