1. At and after registration, students shall not study in other universities at the same time, otherwise you will be disqualified and investigated for relevant responsibilities.
2. After entering the school, students must strictly abide by the school management. Please report to the school in time if any abnormality occurring. You shall not leave the school (leaving Nanjing) without approval.
3. Students must participate in academic activities as required. Contact the international students’ office in advance if you need to ask for leave. If you do not participate in the academic activities for more than two weeks (including the scientific research activities arranged by the graduate supervisor) without approval, the university has the right to take a withdrawn procedure, to cancel the studentship and the visa as well.
4. Please contact the International Students’ Office (Chengyuan 302) to register a valid email address, apartment address, telephone number, wechat and other contact information. Once the information is updated, inform the International Students’ Office in time to ensure that the school can reach you.
5. The dormitories provided by the university may not be enough to accommodate all students (including freshmen), with a first-come, first-served approach. If you want to rent an off-campus apartment, please prepare the relevant fees in advance. Some CSC scholarship students will receive a certain off-campus accommodation subsidy. You can consult the international students’ office for more details.
6. Non-dormitory personnel (including family members) shall not be invited to enter the dormitory area. The campus dormitory is only for students themselves, not for family members.
7. Scholarship students with a invalid scholarship duration should pay for the dormitory themselves. Please contact the dormitory administrator to inquire about the amount of the accommodation fee (including water and electricity charges).
8. Students who receive monthly living allowance should complete a facial attendance each month to obtain a regular monthly payment; you are required to complete scholarship annul review every year. Failure to pass the review, your scholarship will be suspended or disqualified. And the relevant fees will be paid according to the standard of self-funded students.
9. Starting from 2024 fall, CSC PhD students are only accepted to apply for scholarship extension once, and the result will be depended on China Scholarship Council.
10. Please pay close attention to the validity of your passport and visa. No valid residence permit will be punished according to Chinese law. If the address is changed, the temporary accommodation registration should be updated within 24 hours. Without the permission of the entry and exit department, you shall not conduct any form of work or internship in China. Visas for students who suspend or withdraw from the current program will be canceled 20 days after the completion of approval.
