Chinese Painting
1. Nature and Objectives of the Course
This course offers traditional Chinese painting skills and relevant knowledge. The objectives of the course mainly include: on the basis of teaching elementary traditional Chinese painting skills, make students master the ability of painting creation; make students understand the techniques of pen and ink and picture composition; cultivate their ability of feeling, analyzing and studying traditional Chinese painting skills; deepen their interest and discussion in Chinese painting.
2. Content of the Course
Techniques of Pen & Ink and Picture Composition in Chinese Painting
1). The Concept of Chinese Painting: grasp the concept, characteristics and history of development of Chinese painting;
2). Basic Techniques of using painting brush: grasp the basic gestures of holding Chinese painting brush (Zhi, Ce, Wo, Tuo, Zhuo, Ni) and the basic methods of using painting brush (line, spot-ink, iterative-wrinkle);
3). Basic Techniques of using ink: grasp the basic colors of ink (Jiao, Nong, Zhong, Dan, Qing) and the methods of using ink;
4). Facsimile: an indispensable way of learning traditional painting, includes imitation by looking at and analyzing the original painting, and imitation with memory.
5). Techniques of Picture Composition: grasp the basic regular patterns of painting;
6). Inscription, Seal and Mounting: graso the basic knowledge of inscription, ink paste and mounting.
3. Requirements of the Course
1). Analytic ability: analyzing and appreciating the example works;
2). Research ability: thinking independently and deeply, proposing original opinions about the painting skills;
3). Self-learning ability: systemizing, summarizing and absorbing the knowledge, observing and practicing as frequently as possible;
4). Expression ability: clearly expressing original understanding and analysis of traditional Chinese painting in their works.

中国绘画
一、课程的性质与目的
本课程是对传统国画技巧与相关知识的学习与感知.本课程的教学目的,是使学生在学习基本的传统国画技法的基础上,进一步掌握国画创作的能力,了解传统国画的相关笔墨法、构图法,培养学生对传统国美术学画技法的感知、分析与研究能力,并对国画技法产生相应兴趣和进一步进行钻研探讨的能力。
二、课程内容的教学要求
1. 国画笔墨法、构图法
(1)国画的基本概念:掌握国画的概念、基本特征以及发展历程。
(2)国画的基本笔法:掌握基本的国画笔势(直逼、侧笔、卧笔、拖笔、擢笔、逆笔),笔法(线和皴擦点染)。
(3)国画的基本墨法:掌握基本的墨色(焦、浓、重、淡、清)、墨法(积墨法、破墨法、泼墨法)。
(4)临摹:学习传统不可缺少的方法。对临(先分析、后临摹)背临(先看、后想、再回忆)。
(5)国画的构图法:掌握基本规律(气势、主次、疏密、实虚、依生、装饰、多样统一、四绝一体)。
(6)题字盖章和装裱:掌握题穷款与长题、印泥、装裱基本知识。
四、能力培养的要求
1. 分析能力的培养:主要是对创作画例进行分析学习的能力的培养。
2. 研究能力的培养:培养学生独立思考、深入钻研问题的习惯,和对一些技法构图问题提出自我观点的能力。
3. 自学能力的培养:通过本课程的教学,要培养和提高学生对所学知识进行整理、概括、消化吸收的能力,以及围绕课堂教学内容,多看、多练,争取达到能够自我学习的能力。
4. 表达能力的培养:主要是通过作业,清晰、明确地表达自己对传统国画的理解、探析能力。
