If prescribed study period has not been completed and request for living off campus, students must submit an application for living-off campus 校外住宿申请表.zip to International Students' Office in advance. Basically, applications can only be accepted at the beginning of each academic year.  Students are not allowed to live off-campus without going through the check-out procedures and living-off campus application procedures. SEU will not provide accommodation under certain circumstances: undergraduate students extend their prescribed study period; doctoral students (6 years maximum) and master students (4 years maximum) have exceeded the maximum length of schooling (subject to the notice from International Students' Office); non-degree international students have completed the length of schooling. Students who apply for suspension or being off campus for more than 2 months should also check out on time.

If you live off campus in the previous academic year and want to move into student dormitory, please submit your application to the dormitory administrator in October of the next academic year. The result is subject to the final approval and reply.

If you choose to live off campus, please come to International Students' Office and find your counselor to apply. Then leave the telephone number of yours as well as your landlord's and the address of your apartment to ISO. Besides, please apply for Registration Form of Temporary Residence from the local police with the help of your landlord within 24 hours.
